Food here is absolutely great. I've had a few different smash burgers to include one that had peanut butter and they were all phenomenal. I marked it down a little bit on atmosphere because it's just a food truck with a couple tables outside so there isn't much atmosphere. I didn't mark it all the way down because it also was a safe environment and I was able to enjoy my food with friends and family.
Great hamburger meat, sweet potato fries, & tots. Not overly salted fries. The regular smash burger w cheese is a little bit on the sweet side w the brioche bun, pickles and sauce. Next time Ill opt for the sauce on the side.
This is the definition of a Smash Burger. Bacon Smash burger was excellent. Take the Marinated onions on your burger, they were the highlight of mine. Don't miss the happy hour special. 1400-1600 / 2-4 pm, free fries or excellent Tater tots and a drink with a Burger order. Can't deals like this. Definitely recommended, definitely revisiting.
Ok Reeners! Ok! Our lunch was so good and so affordable for the quality and quantity of food we got. I think I spent 18.50 and got a bigger than normal looking Cheesesteak Burger, a good sized Sweet Potato Fries, a can of Diet Pepsi and an extra side of sauce. My friend enjoyed her Bacon Burger as well. Great service too! We will be back!
I've been to Reeners a few times and always been happy with the food and service but it's even better lately. The new buns perfectly compliment the burger so I'm happy about that change. Food is always excellent and cooked right on the spot so it's super fresh. The standard smash is great but I've started trying some of the specialty burgers and they definitely live up to the hype. Had the pastrami last night and loved it. The service is always friendly and they get the orders ready quick. It's the best burger in Albany!! I saw some reviews about overly salty fries but I thought they were perfect. Maybe they listened to the reviews and adjusted.
Delicious smash burgers, tasty French fries but way too salty. Friendly staff and clean area. Pleasant, easy vibe. Lots of parking space too!
I've been working as a butcher since I was 8 and been cooking-BBQing since I was 12 and everyone I know has always said I make the best burgers including My friends that work as Bering Sea fishermen, but Smash Burger puts me to shame with the devil's most juicy burger I've ever had with more flavor in just the juice from the burger than an entire truck load of Burger King and McDonald's combined.
The smash burger was enormous and absolutely delicious. It was also a great value for how much food you get. Nice to know you can still find a decent deal these days! Places like this in Portland have lines all day long. For now I guess I’ve discovered a hidden gem, doubt it will take long for word to get out. Highly recommend!
